Dear Class,
As some of you know, it took me more than an hour to commute from the Hill to the GSPM last night. I even stopped the car at 18th Street and began running the last few blocks but alas, I was late, very late (I think I arrived around 7.45 PM). I cannot begin to apologize enough - this has never happened in my time as a professor and for those of you who saw me partially soaked but determined to teach, you saw my disappointment.
So, I appreciate the fact that you waited longer than the standard 15 minutes and that attendance was taken on my behalf. I will see you next Thursday and I would also like to reschedule a class for either next Friday (early evening) or Saturday (morning or Noonish). My next post will ask you to vote on either option and the majority vote will carry the day. We will also discuss other options for other make-up classes on Thursday night as well.
Again, I am sorry and look forward to seeing you next Thursday where we will tackle a series of in-class challenges. Also, please finish Carnegie, A to Z and read the Introduction and Chapter 1 of Covey.
All the best,
Jason
